Apl.de.Ap brings down the house at PHITEX 2015

Apl.de.Ap, the popular Filipino member of the Black Eyed Peas pumped up the delegates during the opening of the Philippine Travel Exchange (PHITEX) 2015 with his original song and music video entitled “It’s More Fun in The Philippines”.

Apl.de.Ap was tapped by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) to write a song about how it is more fun in Philippines. The music video, the country’s tourist destinations as ‘paradise’, was launched during the program, featuring Apl.de.Ap enjoying the many attractions and adventures that await visitors coming to the Philippines.

The singer shared that he didn’t feel that it was work when he was asked to appear in the VPA 2016 music video. Apl.de.Ap also believes that tourists all over the world should come and visit the Philippines, and see that the country has indeed many wonderful things to offer.

Philippine Travel Exchange (PHITEX) 2015 is the country’s biggest and most important travel trade event this month which brings together local travel investors to meet foreign buyers from all over the world. PHITEX 2015 includes the MICECON, the country’s largest assembly of local stakeholders in Meetings, Incentive travel, Conventions, and Events/Exhibitions (MICE) industry, and TRAVEX, exclusive business-to-business appointment meetings between Philippine sellers and foreign buyers.
