A funny thing happened to GMA-7

Something funny has happened to GMA-7. The Kapuso network recently became a happier place to stay in with the addition of Ai-Ai de las Alas!

Starting Monday, May 4, 2015, the Philippine Comedy Queen is set to conquer your hearts and funny bones with her new prime time soap “Let the Love Begin.” From the looks of it, local fans will surely be delighted with Ai-Ai’s own brand of comedy that was formerly a staple of ABS-CBN for the past 16 years.
In the new TV series, Ai-Ai plays a cool mom named Jeni who dishes out advice on love and life together with her best friend Tony (Gardo Versoza) via their popular radio program. She has two kids from her alcoholic live-in boyfriend Enrico (Joko Diaz), namely Erick (Ruru Madrid) and Elsa (Ar Angel Aviles).

On the other hand, Tony is a widower whose daughter Pia (Gabbi Garcia) falls in love with her childhood friend Erick. This unexpected development will test the bond of friendship between Jeni and Tony and put them in dramatic and funny situations. How will the two parents react to their children’s relationship? Will Jeni and Tony become even closer or will this unexpected turn of events destroy their long friendship?

There’s more: What happens when the station manager Jom (Mark Anthony Fernandez) and his best friend Jess (Neil Ryan Sese) both fall in love with Jeni? Adding spice to this complicated development is Katy (Gladys Reyes), the Diva DJ and Jeni’s rival at the other station. How will she react to Jeni’s problems?

SM City Baguio: Rainwater Treatment Done Right, Water Sustainability in Sight

SM City Baguio is making significant strides in water stewardship with its innovative rainwater treatment facility (RTF), launched in July 2023. In the months since, the facility has already processed over 17,111.80 cubic meters of rainwater – equivalent to 7 Olympic-size swimming pools, or enough to fill over 6,800 standard water tankers – into potable water for the SM mall’s operations and for their lessees’ use.  SM City Baguio's groundbreaking rainwater treatment facility has treated over 17,000 cubic meters of rainwater into drinkable water. This initiative supplements the mall's water supply from the Baguio Water District and significantly contributes to the city's water security and the safety of its residents. Located at the mall’s basement level, the RTF provides 30% of the mall’s total monthly average requirement for clean water that is safe for consumption and food preparation.       "There is a critical need for reliable and safe water sour...
