What Your Clothes Say About You

Your clothes say a lot about you. But are you sending the right signals?  What messages can be gleaned from your attire?  Think about it: when you walk down the street, are people smiling at you? Do they stare in disbelief?  Or do they laugh at you or simply ignore you?

This is my ever comfortable get-up!

Your clothes tell people who you are. They reveal your personality and leave an immediate impression in the minds of people. Whether you’e aware of it or not, your attire reveals your economic status, social circle, degree of sophistication, and morality. This is why you should wear the right clothes. (I'm one of the victim of these, usually misjudge of what I wear.)
Just love comfortable dress or sleeveless

It’s important that you select clothes that say something good about you. Choose those that speak of your  personal and professional goals. In short, dress for the job you’re dreaming of - not the one you currently have. When utilized as a kind of social communication, your clothes can change the way people look at you. The right attire can give you more attention, more friends and even more dates.

If you wear a skimpy, seductive dress, don’t be surprised if some people mistake you for a hooker. With this kind of attire, expect to be treated with less respect and dignity than if you dress modestly. So teach people how to treat you with the right clothes. Think carefully before wearing anything or people may get the wrong idea.

Keep in mind that people will respect you if you respect yourself. Each time you dress up and leave the house, you project pieces of yourself to others. These pieces reveal your education level, your wealth, and even your feelings of self-worth.

This is how i deal people... Wearing make-up makes me a different person! Do you agree?

So keep your head up, your shoulders straight, get a god haircut and wear fashionable attire appropriate to the occasion. That way, you’ll be seen as successful person even if you're not.

  1. I never really thought of it that way...in fact, I never even thought of it, haha. but yeah, our financial status must be obvious in what we wear, hahaha. :)

    1. May its because usong-uso ang designer clothes! But come to think of it.. Maraming Divisoria clothes or local brands that are more comfortable to wear! Nasa pag dadala daw yun

  2. Sakto, Mommy Cheryl! Hubby and I were talking about this topic last night. I strongly agree with you. Ganitung-ganito ang conversation namin. What you wear speaks about who you are as a person. Lalo na rito sa Pinas. We are judged most of the time due to the way we look physically. Kaya we have to be conscious on how we dress up and carry ourselves in public to avoid giving a wrong impression to other people. Nice post! Thanks for sharing this. :) By the way, you look good! :)

    1. Mommy SJ thanks for the compliment. I just feed up sometimes kasi (I'm not a signature clothes buyer except for bags) pag lumabas ako ng bahay I always see my fellow kapitbahay talking and looking at me. One time may isa di nakatiis, she told me I invest daw on what I wear. I definitely told her 'Yes I am because I usually talk to different person everyday so wearing appropriate clothes is really a must'.

  4. I'm not that brand conscious, though I have my preferred brands, when buying clothes, shoes or bags. I just see to it that I look comfortable and good in them. For the branded ones, may mga divisoria branded ones, so parang sayang lang

  5. Yes, I'm quite wondering why people often get judged here based on how they dress! If one's not very slim, it seems like it's a fashion crime to wear sleeveless clothes. Well, like you, I'll wear what I'm comfortable wearing!

  6. very comfy look on your first photo. I believe so it makes a difference kung mananamit tayo ng ayon sa lugar o occasion. Truly, its not necessary to wear signature clothes kung hindi naman din kaya dalin :) and sometimes cheaper ones, makes you more pretty its because the attitude that is really seen.

  7. I've always been the type who values comfort over fashion, but I try to make it a point to always look presentable when I go out. It's quite hard though to find flattering clothes because I'm quite plus sized - either everything's too small or too big. I wish I could wear sleeveless clothes - my arms are too big though and I always get criticized about it. So I don't bother na lang.

  10. Agree. I always believe that one must dress according to the occasion. Wear something appropriate sa mga pupuntahan. And sabi nga ni Coco Chanel, always look your best when you leave the house coz you never know baka that's the day you'll have a date with destiny. Or something like that. Hahahahha!

  13. What you wear creates a certain aura of what you feel like on the day you wear it. I'm not really into brands when it comes to clothing. Basta comfy, go! It's just sad that people get judged about their status because of what they wear. Minsan lang talaga they wore that way because that's how they feel like wearing on that day, and not because it says of what they are as a person.
