New Partners For NetSuite Philippines

NetSuite, the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP and omnichannel commerce  software suites, announced that Kaisa Consulting and Questronix Corporation, two leading IT strategy and implementation consultancies in greater Manila, have joined the NetSuite Solution Provider program.

The partnership with NetSuite allows these two partners, for the first time, to modernize their existing product portfolios including Oracle, SAP, Microsoft and IBM by adding NetSuite’s cloud-based business management suite. With NetSuite, both Questronix Corporation and Kaisa Consulting are able to meet the growing demand for a comprehensive suite of cloud-based solutions spanning ERP, CRM and ecommerce that is architected specifically for the cloud versus antiquated systems based on client-server technology that lack flexibility, create a hairball of integration challenges, and require ongoing maintenance, a huge IT staff and on-going IT costs.

Another company joins NetSuite is Big Chill, a fast-growing food and beverage retailer with 60 shops in the greater Manila area, has deployed NetSuite OneWorld to support the company’s growth and expansion plans. The retail chain is relying on NetSuite OneWorld to better manage its mission-critical business processes, including financials, inventory management, fixed asset management, order management, procure-to-pay and warehousing – all without a huge IT staff and within one unified business management solution. Big Chill expects this modernization effort to give them the business agility, visibility, flexibility and scalability that cannot be found in its previous on-premise system to support its business growth and expansion.

“We feel like we’re upgrading from an archaic on-premise solution into a modern, luxury suite with NetSuite. The reporting flexibility and ability to add modules to the product as we expand are tremendous,” said Rusty Lemon, Chief Operating Consultant at Big Chill.

Also Coca-Cola Foundation also joins NetSuite. It is founded since 1987 and helped improve access to education, clean water and economic opportunity to hundreds of thousands of Filipinos. Upgrading to NetSuite, Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines is able to run its core business processes – all within one integrated software system and without a dedicated IT staff. As a result the nonprofit organization has gained process automation, and real-time visibility into critical business metrics not possible with its previous software to better fulfill its mission of socioeconomic improvement.

“NetSuite is helping us operate more efficiently so that we can put our time and energy into making a meaningful difference in the lives of underprivileged Filipinos,” said Cecilia Alcantara, President at Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines. “Using NetSuite, we are able to significantly preserve resources for our projects, and the new software gives us the ability to clearly present the value of our work and the donations we receive to our stakeholders.”

Lastly Far Eastern University (FEU), with 28,000 students on campuses in Manila and Makati City, Philippines, also implemented NetSuite OneWorld to support its mission-critical financial processes, including accounting, inventory management, fixed assets and purchasing. By replacing an outdated on-premise application for general ledger and accounts payable and numerous excel sheets for reporting with NetSuite OneWorld, FEU (www.feu.edu.ph) is  realizing the benefits of faster, more efficient financials based on real-time data, anywhere, anytime access to critical business information, and gaining greater control and visibility, building a foundation for growth.

Before NetSuite OneWorld, FEU struggled with its on-premise application that provided limited visibility into critical information. After examining competing applications, FEU selected NetSuite OneWorld because of the lower cost, greater functionality and its rich customization capabilities.

Going live on NetSuite OneWorld in April 2012, with an implementation by Softype, a global NetSuite Solution Provider, FEU has since taken advantage of the features and benefits NetSuite OneWorld has brought:
•           Flexible reporting capabilities to better explore and understand key data.
•           Procure-to-pay functionality as part of its standard financials package.
•           Cut monthly financial close times significantly, from 16 days to 5 days.
•           Gain access to real-time financial data on demand, compared to the  oncea-month reports it was able to generate with its previous solutions.
•           Streamline tax reporting to meet the requirements of the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
•           Greatly improve purchasing efficiency and visibility with almost 700 suppliers, replacing what had been manual paper-based purchase orders, check-writing and other processes.

“The improved efficiency of financial reporting is one of the major benefits we’ve realized with NetSuite OneWorld,” said Juan Miguel Montinola, CFO at FEU. “NetSuite gives us access to vital data anytime and anywhere, that’s been invaluable in transforming the finance and accounting teams from mostly consolidating numbers to now properly analyzing them”.

Today, more than 20,000 companies and subsidiaries depend on NetSuite to run complex, mission-critical business processes globally in the cloud. Since its inception in 1998, NetSuite has established itself as the leading provider of enterprise-class cloud ERP suites for divisions of large enterprises and mid-sized organizations seeking to upgrade their antiquated client/server ERP systems. NetSuite excels at streamlining business operations, as demonstrated by a recent Gartner study naming NetSuite as the fastest growing top 10 financial management systems vendor in the world. NetSuite continues its success in delivering the best cloud ERP/financial suites to businesses around the world, enabling them to lower IT costs significantly while increasing productivity, as the global adoption of the cloud accelerates.

  1. Companies really need systems that are very efficient to save on time and money. Streamlining of tax reports to meet the requirements of the BIR is a great service offered, because who wants to go back and forth just to complete the requirements, not to mention the filing process?
